© И. МаксимAccording to the Lonely Planet Tourism Guides, Lesna, is a small gem in Poland. For visitors who want to explore the more medieval urban communities of Poland, Lesna is a worth while visit.
The small town has no stunning monuments unlike Warsaw and other parts of Poland, however Lesna has the Czocha castle. Tourists can go on a 30 minute tour of the Czocha castle to hear the legends and mysterious stories which have shaped the town. If you've never gone into a castle before, the experience is pretty rare and unique. You'll be able to enter the chamber of torture, dungeons and visit the rooms made for knights. There is also beautiful scenery including the Kwisa River, ancient music concerts, medieval feasts and the 20 grave monuments dedicated for the local knights.
