© macronixI guess I'm getting old. You see, in my day, the phrase "Warsaw Nightlife" was an oxymoron!
But if you're into Poland travel and you're headed toward Warsaw, then you're in for a surprise as well as a treat. With prices generally cheaper than you'll find in London or Moscow, Warsaw boasts every type of entertainment including boho bars and jazz clubs, international DJs, fabulous all-night parties and sweaty techno joints.
Here's your Quick-Start Guide to Warsaw Nightlife:
1. Sheesha is an Arabian-style nightclub complete with hookas and bellydancers.
2. Patrick's Irish Pub offers excellent brew in a fine-quality venue.
3. Klub Balsam is a cool "cult favourite" located in the Mokatow fort. The quiet daytime café by day transforms into a nighttime artsy party scene.
4. The chic crowd hanging out at Foksal 19 is reminiscent of London's most elite bars.
5. Jazz fans will enjoy Tygmont Jazz Club, Poland's major jazz hub offering high standard of music, good food, and free entry.
6. And of course, we can't leave out classical music lovers, for whom the National Philharmonic offers fine musical performances year-round. Opera enthusiasts can delight in the Grand Theatre or Warsaw Chamber Opera.
